Bowl Workshop February 7, 1:00-4:00
Enjoy an afternoon of creating in clay with guided instruction. Form a cereal, decorative bowl or small planter by draping clay over a hump mold. Then, choose your type of foot to add on and create a rim. Finish your creation by pressing in patterns to give your bowl its unique character. All experience levels are welcome. Luminaries
Sat., Nov 8, 10:00-12:00, form your shape Sat., Nov 15 10:00-12:00, cut out patterns Use handbuilding techniques to create your beautiful ceramic luminary. You could carve, cut or use other methods to decorate your form with patterns of flowers, stars, or another design of your choosing. Once glazed and kiln fired let the soft glow from a tealight or fairy lights placed inside illuminate your surroundings. All experience levels are welcome.
